Zoya: Irresistable Summer 2013 Swatches

First I want to say I am finally back after a break from my blog. I have been so busy in my salon and at home. But I am finally back to catch up on everything!

Irresistible is the second part to the Zoya Summer 2013 collection. It is very different from the stunning collection which you can see here. These colors are shiny and sparkly and very bold. 

Rikki was more sheer on application, I used three coats here.

 Hazel was a great formula went on perfect only two coats

 Kerry was my least favorite. It went on very heavy and clumpy and the glitter in this one stuck around more than the others. 

 Bobbi went on bright and only needed two coats. 

 Amy's formula was also thick. Went on pretty heavy, used two coats.

 Tinsley was my favorite application and color. It went on very sheer and was able to build color. This was three coats

New to Zoya this summer is the Stunning and Irresistible Collection. This is just the Stunning collection, irresistible will be up next. This might be one of my favorite collections 

I apologize ahead of time I am not the best at applying nail polish, I hated doing anything nail related in school! I have very shaky hands when I am concentrating, but I tried to capture the true color as much as possible!

The consitancy  of Darcy was very thin, this required 3 coats. 

 Thandie is a great color and only required 2 coats.

 I really like the formula on this one, not streaky at all. Only 2 coats

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation Swatches & Review

Another hot and popular foundation buzzing all over is the Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1. It claims to be a primer, concealer, and foundation in one. I did find I did not need any primer or bb cream under this foundation. It went on evenly and smooth. The consitancy is pretty thick but not heavy feeling at all. It has a 14 shades to choose from. 

Ok so I am horrible and picking out foundations from drugstores, its hard matching your skin through the bottle. So I am always standing there looking up swatches and even then it's still tough. Well, I thought I picked the right color and as you can see below it does seem to match my tone well. Keep in mind the back of my hand is pretty fair compared to my face. Another thing is one pump goes a LONG way! You'll see below. 

Medium Beige 842

You can tell that once the foundation starts drying and hitting the air it definitely oxidizes. So I do recommend getting a shade lighter. This shade was also a little too pink for my skin tone. But for it being noticeably a shade too dark it did an amazing job at blending into my skin on my face. No lines, looked perfect! I'm headed to exchange this now and I think I might get a couple more shades to be sure. But this foundation has definitely exceeded my expectations. From the flawless application to the lightweight feel I have found a new drugstore favorite!

Essie 2013 Spring Collection: In The Cab-ana Swatch

Part of the new 2013 Essie Spring collection is In The Cab-ana. This gorgeous blue is a perfect tone for spring. This is the only color I picked up and is my favorite already!
